Jenny’s life and career is an anecdote ridden roller coaster of a tale, from the mean streets of Liverpool in the 1980’s to the square mile of London’s financial district and beyond. She has spent a lifetime learning how to use the “human element” to gain access to buildings and data.

An ethical Social Engineer hired to smash security measures, using psychology, con-artistry, subliminal linguistics, cunning and guile. She has led simulated criminal attacks on businesses of all types and sizes, running crews with varied expertise and experience, in order to help secure client sites and information from malicious attacks.

Jenny has also appeared on numerous TV and Radio shows and was a “HQ Hunter” in TV’s HUNTED

Independent Fraud Investigator

Dave is one of the UK’s most experienced and respected fraud investigators. He lectured for 11 years at the detective training school in Hendon as well as various universities and chartered institutions.

Dave helps clients to prepare and conduct complex interviews, to structure investigations and to create disciplinary and evidential packs for the police, civil recovery and prosecutions. At a strategic level, Dave assists his clients to develop their antifraud culture, to enhance their corporate standards and devise bespoke training for investigators, human resources and lawyers.

Maria has a thorough knowledge and excellent experience of the P2P process, from management of suppliers, contracts, through to procurement and payment of invoices as well as a with a long relationship with SAP and the numerous finance and procurement functions within it.

Having been awarded Apprentice Manager of the Year and winner of “Outstanding Contribution of P2P of the Year 2022 by the Purchase to Pay Network, Maria is an excellent addition to our panel discussion.

Charlotte has worked in local government for many years. Her career started at Bedford Borough Council as Payments Manager, then Procurement Compliance Manager, where she project-managed the implementation of their Source to Contract software before relocating to Cornwall in 2015. During this time, she has implemented a P2P process, No PO No Pay policy, a Purchase to Pay Policy and was also the P2P lead on the 2+ year project to upgrade the finance and HR system which went live at the same time as COVID!

Sam is Partnerships Director at The Institute of Financial Operations & Leadership, who develop and administrate their own suite of certification programmes and continuous education for professionals in the field of AP/P2P, AR/OTC and Payroll. Since 2018, Sam has led the growth and expansion of IFOL’s partnerships with employers of all sizes, professional bodies and technology providers across the UK, US and Canada. Previously, Sam owned and managed a recruitment business, specialising in Transactional Finance and IT markets and was joint owner and founder of an online membership community for AP professionals in the UK. Sam’s key interests are in research and education for Operational Finance professionals, and he enjoys seeing education enabling career mobility for individuals and performance improvement for businesses.

David joined FISCAL in August 2020, having spent more than 20 years in customer facing leadership roles in the technology industry. As Chief Customer Officer, David is focused on driving an exceptional Customer Experience across our Customer family and ensuring that the Customer is at the heart of everything we do at Fiscal.
Operationally, David leads our Customer Success, Education and Consultancy, and Project Delivery teams, ensuring we ‘Deliver the Wow’ throughout the customer journey.
All his career has been spent learning and developing in Customer led functions across multiple disciplines and industries. David brings a commercially focused desire to deliver an outstanding customer experience. All of David’s leadership experience has come in growth environments during his time as Customer Services and Operations Director at Bottomline Technologies, and latterly as Group Operations Director – Telematics for Radius Payment Solutions.

David joined FISCAL in 2019 and brings a wealth of business growth and operational leadership experience having held senior management positions within management consulting, facility services and business process outsourcing sectors over the past 25 years.
David’s extensive experience is ideal for supporting our customers’ needs and for delivering value.

David is the driving force behind FISCAL’s commitment to delivering solutions that provide customers with real value and a great return on investment. He has 25 years’ experience in growing technology organisations and has spent the last 15 years working with hundreds of Accounts Payable and Shared Service Centres to help protect their corporate spend.

David’s vision and leadership have been crucial in focusing FISCAL as a leading brand in the Procure-to-Pay function. Under his helm, the business has grown 50-fold in revenues across North America and Europe.

Prior to joining FISCAL, David was Head of European Marketing for Bottomline Technologies, and Commercial Director for European Internet Technologies, a supplier of e-business solutions. David holds an MBA and Honours Degree in Business and Accounting.
