Fraud has become the most common crime in England and Wales, and organisations are losing 6.4% of their expenditure to it, on average.

Globally, ACFE estimates that that occupational fraud will cost businesses more than $4.7 trillion worldwide each year.

What’s more, the UK’s ‘Failure to Prevent Fraud’ offence has recently received royal assent and will be in force once guidance is published. Its’ reach will stretch far: This criminal offence will have an extraterritorial effect, allowing organisations inside and outside of the UK to be prosecuted. So, now it’s even more important for us to ensure our fraud detection and prevention measures are as vigilant as possible.

So, what measures can we take?

In this webinar, fraud expert Robert Brooker and FISCAL CEO, David Griffiths will share advice on proactive techniques that Finance leaders can use to detect and prevent fraud. This will include the automation of fraud detection and prevention, and how the upcoming ‘failure to prevent fraud’ legislation affects this
